These boots were a salvation, and I’m never changing to another boot. I tried Risport and Riedell but none seemed to fit my feet properly, and the Riedell boots put me in a lot of pain in just a few minutes. These fit like a glove and give me all the necessary support on my ankles without compromising comfort. They feel like a natural extension to my feet, and I can control my skating elements better. If you don’t like boots that are too stiff, I’d recommend the Ice Fly.
I gave 5 stars on value, but it depends on whom you’re buying them from.
Note that my boots are the old Piano model and have the old tongue, so I can’t review the current tongue Edea has.

The original model of the Edea piano was amazing, and I loved it! The newer model, however, was not a good fit for me. The tongue no longer has the crease to let it bend. Therefore, when you bend your knee the entire tongue slides forward causing instability until you break the tongue in. When I broke the tongue in, the sides had endured much more stress and bending than they are built for. The new tongue loops break very easily allowing the tongue so slide from side to side. In four months of working on only double jumps, the support in the boot had completely worn out. I have very skinny ankles, so this is why I am assuming I break the Edea boot. If I tie it tight enough around my ankle, it is tighter than the boot is meant to be tied. However, the comfort level of the boot is fantastic!
