I think that these are a great, and more affordable, version of the John Wilson P99 (so much so that for awhile I thought I actually had a P99 and not a Jackson blade). The toepick was comparable to the P99 and gave me the same kind of lift. The blades were in great shape when I retired the boots that went with it; I could probably still use them if I felt inclined.
My spins were fantastically centered as well, I think possibly more so than I have been able to in my P99’s. This is a highly underrated blade that I think more people should look into.
