Like Emma I have the original legacy blades. I paired them with my Edea Chorus boots which I’m absolutely in love with.
Back to the blades. I’ve been skating in these for a little over a week. And my experience is as follows.
I had to adapt to the 8 ft rocker since I always had blades with a 7ft rocker overall. I was an MK kind of guy. Having had the MK 21 (beginner blade), MK double star and the MK professional. But that transition took me about 10 minutes or so. If not less. I had to put my weight a bit more back on the blade. It can also be because my blade was 1/2 inch shorter than my previous blade, having sized down in my Edea boots. So don’t quote me on that. But I love the 8 ft rocker on the blade because of it’s stability.
That said what I don’t like is the spin profiling. It’s too flat for what I’m used too. In the beginning when they were very sharp I didn’t have problems with it but as soon as they started to dull, my spins are going all over the place.
As for the life span of this blade I don’t know how long I’ll last in these. As I said I’ve had them for a little over a week, with around 12 hours of use and they need to be sharpened already. I never had that with my MK blades. I could go up to six months with a good sharpening. So we’ll see for how long they will last.
Already have my eye on the John Wilson Gold Seal Revolution blade.

I have the original Legacy blades, the ones that are solid, and I love these blades so much! I have consistent axels, double sals and double loops and I’m doing flying camels and beginning death drops. Through all of these moves my blades support me so well. And for $180, these blades are definitely worth it! I’m going on about a year and a half with them and they have no sign of wearing down. My next blade will definitely be Legacy or the Matrix Legacy!
