Like all the other reviewers mention, there is little to no break in period. These skates are just so comfortable. The ankle/shaft of the boot is rather soft so I wouldn’t attempt anything more than a half jump on them but they are perfect for beginner classes. If your foot shape is tapered in any way and if your feet are wider at the top than the heel this is a great brand. No adjustments on my part. I do think the fit and finish is a little lacking. In Europe this is a very popular learn to skate combo with MK Flight. I think if you can get the set in Italy or Spain then that’s your best value. Anywhere else and you are most definitely overpaying. The sole and heel are plastic so the boot is relative lightweight. Unlike Jackson learn to skate boots these are made of real leather and the inside foam is just so soft against a learner’s foot. I think Antares will get you farther in your training actually than the Jackson Artiste/Mystique as well.

It is perfect for beginner-skater but could be also good for kind of advanced skaters. You should be able to perform every single jump in them BUT I think its not the safest to try an axel or something in them because they loosen up kind of fast and are not stiff. Ive had a great time with them and I think overall theyre great to get started with.

The Antares is an excellent beginners skate. Most dealers sell them pre-mounted. It’s a very comfortable boot, that won’t have a real break-in phase.
It is suitable for all single jumps.
Just as always, if you’re an adult skater (/beginner) the stiffness/ankle support may not last that incredibly long.
But it’s just perfect for the start and is also not to expensive.
(As always please make sure you get the right size! In the best case scenario you go to a store and get measured, if that’s not possible measure you’re own feet)
